Laila is a short fiction film that follows a 23-year-old Laila arriving in Barcelona after fleeing the war in Gaza, carrying only a postcard from her estranged father. As she searches for him, she navigates the beauty and disorientation of an unfamiliar city while confronting the trauma she carries within. The film unfolds as an intimate character study and a meditation on exile, memory, and belonging.
