Machouka (Passionately loved)

A meeting unfolds between Hanin, the filmmaker, and the Ardèche landscape, where rolling vineyards awaken memories of her childhood village in Syria. She gradually weaves a deep connection with a local couple of biodynamic winemakers. From there, a heartfelt exchange takes root—about the bond with the land, the echoes of ancestors, the many forms of resistance, and the lingering memories of a homeland lost by Hanin and her family.
